What is this settlement about?
This is a nationwide class action settlement of a lawsuit
brought on behalf of residential end-users who had purchased and installed
SSV and allegedly experienced cracking or delamination of the SSV not
resulting from obvious customer abuse during the 10-year warranty period.
Who is eligible?
You are eligible to participate in this settlement
if: 1) you are a residential end-user of SSV with a 10 year warranty; 2) you have an existing claim of
cracking or delamination not resulting from obvious customer abuse
during the 10-year warranty period; 3) you have not previously signed a
release of claims with Wilsonart; and 4) you did not request to be excluded from the class. If you are a residential end-user
of SSV who previously submitted a warranty claim which was honored
prior to the Effective Date of the final settlement of this lawsuit,
your claim is excluded from this settlement, unless you have experienced
a new crack or delamination after the Effective Date of the final settlement
and during the warranty period. Wilsonart’s agents, employees,
owners and assigns are not eligible to participate in this settlement.
What benefits are available under the settlement?
Upon receipt of valid and complete claim information, Wilsonart will process a cash payment to you based upon the installation price and age of installation.
