How to Identify Solid Surface Veneer (“SSV”)

SSV is an acrylic solid surfacing material which was manufactured in 1/8-inch thickness and adhered to a wood-based substrate panel, finished on the edges and installed as a countertop or work surface primarily in residential kitchens and bathrooms.

SSV should not be confused with conventional ½-inch thick acrylic solid surfacing materials.
